Be Sure To Vote October 11th!

Five Wake County School Board Races Are On The Ballot Next Tuesday: Don't Forget To Vote!!

School BusLast time Wake School Board seats were up for grabs, low turn-out allowed a handful of Raleigh residents to decide the winners, triggering a complete turn-around in school policy and Board make-up. This year, let's make sure our schools take the direction that a true majority of Wake residents want!

The races on October 11th are non-partisan primaries, and in most races the top two vote getters will go on to the November General Election. However, if any one candidate wins more then 50% of the vote in a race, he or she will win and no other election will be needed for that race. Plus, in some school board districts there are only two candidates running (districts 4, 5 and 8). That means many races will be decided for good come Tuesday! Don't wait to vote in November! Vote on October 11th and tell your friends and family to vote as well!
